Denny Sumpter, Attorney

Denny Sumpter is an experienced trial attorney, with focus on personal injury cases, civil litigation, and matters involving real estate and probate.  Sumpter has represented clients in hundreds of civil litigation cases, and practices in both state and federal court.

Sumpter is a native of West Memphis, Arkansas. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University, where he where he was served as Student Body President.  He received his Juris Doctorate from the Cecil C. Humpreys Law School at the University of Memphis. Sumpter was elected by his community to serve as State Representative to the Arkansas General Assembly from 2003 through 2009. His experience continues to inform his compassion for people and leads him to work tirelessly to provide quality legal representation.

Robert Riley, Attorney

Robert Riley is an attorney with the Sumpter Law Firm. Robert focuses his legal practice in the areas of contracts, small business matters, wills and estate planning, and family law.  He is a native of Crittenden County, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Arkansas School of Law. Prior to his becoming an attorney, Robert worked on local farms, which instilled him with a deep respect for hard work. He is dedicated to providing the legal representation our clients deserve.

Hannah Boothe Roark, Attorney

Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, Hannah developed a love for agriculture early in life, an interest that continues to shape her legal practice today. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University in 2021 before going on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2024. She passed the Arkansas Bar Exam in the summer of 2024 and became licensed in Arkansas in September of that year. She is also licensed to practice law in Tennessee. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and real estate matters.
With her background in agribusiness, she is especially interested in how estate planning, land use, and real estate disputes impact farms and generational property. She is dedicated to helping families protect what they have built and create plans that preserve both their legacy and their livelihood.
She remains actively involved in the community, serving as Secretary of the Crittenden County Bar Association and as a board member of Main Street West Memphis, where she supports local economic growth and revitalization efforts.

Lauren Wright, Paralegal

Lauren Wright works as a Paralegal for Sumpter Law Firm. She is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and moved to the Memphis area in 2017 to pursue her education. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and actively maintains her education with Southwest’s paralegal program. Since graduating with her degree, Lauren has worked for law firms in the Memphis legal community. Lauren’s work is vital to the organization of Sumpter Law Firm’s various civil litigation and personal injury matters. She works each day along with the legal team as Sumpter Law Firm to ensure justice for our clients.
